I have been playing drums for 47 years and have been running The Compound recording studio for 15 plus years. The most important thing to me is to put the song/artist first when I play drums, record, mix or master and to deliver a pro product.
I have toured extensively and played on many projects, TV shows and movies. I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to be able to play professionally in many genres including jazz, funk, punk, R&B, gospel, blues, Tex mex and reggae. I always take in consideration the genre and vibe when I'm working on a track and the big room with a high ceiling I record drums in gives me a great sound. I have recorded and or mixed/mastered tracks for many different artists in Los Angeles and music for commercials.
