I'm a London-based producer/engineer/musician with a remote studio, mostly into indie/rock/folk/alternative. Let's make music that sounds great and moves people.
Hello - my name is Ben and I live in South London. I am both an engineer/producer and musician, playing in bands and working in studios around London for the past 7 years. Additionally, I am a producer/engineer at Cavendish Music, working on music for TV, film and advertising. I can offer production from the ground up, mixing and remote drum recording from both my home studio and the London-based recording studio where I work. Musically I have eclectic tastes, I love indie-rock, psych rock, 60s folk, jazz, hip hop and leftfield genres, to name a few. I use a mix of analog and digital to create textures and tones that feel exciting and nuanced. Feel free to contact me to talk more about your project!

Endorse Ben AndrewesBen is the most kindest, patient and professional mixing engineer we've ever worked with! He always treats your tracks with the uttermost respect and very extremely well trained ears. Knowing we are very detail oriented with our mixes, Ben always achieves perfection with his patience and constant respect towards our vision.
A very passionate and professional mixing engineer, and always a pleasure to work with!I’ve worked with Ben in an engineer/producer role for the last year and it’s been such a productive and enjoyable experience. He creates an environment where I feel at ease trying out ideas without feeling self conscious and he will gently help guide the songs creatively without taking control. When I’m in the studio with Ben I feel a sense positivity and optimism and I can hear that reflected in the songs we’ve recorded together. We also have the same taste in pizza and cookies which helps.
Ben is a dream to work with! Easy to talk to, great communicator, versatile, always takes feedback onboard and honours the artist's vision in his mixes. Your music is in safe hands (and ears) with this tremendous technical knowledge and skill. Equally easy to work with on per-track basis, as well as on longer projects. Would definitely recommend him as a mixing engineer!
