Professional Singer

I am a mezzo-soprano and therefore I have a wide vocal range (high and low notes). I've never used autotune on my recordings. My philosophy is to always try to give my best in each song, that's why I have never used autotune in my recordings. I like the sound of natural voices in a recording. I also create melodies and harmonies.

Hi everyone!
My name is Afryca Soler, from Spain, but im based in Birmingham (UK) right now, and I'm a professional singer.

I started singing in 2003 when I was 15 years old. I started singing in bands from my hometown.
At 20 I recorded my first single in Catalan (my native language) "Vulguis o no vulguis". We presented it in a contest in Menorca (Illasona) and it turned out to be the winner. That song was the soundtrack of a beer commercial in the Balearic Islands.
At the age of 21 I started a project in acoustic guitar and voice called One Dream Duo with the guitarrist Marc Gornés, which is still active today.
I've done vocals on the band's latest album Stop, Stop! being the mysterious voice on his new single "Big Vaccine".

I have worked with producers and musicians from my hometown (Menorca) such as:
Rafael Febrer (guitarist and producer of the song "Vulguis o no vulguis")
Cris Juanico (singer and producer was the one who recorded the song "vulguis o no vulguis" in his studio)
Joan Pau Bonet (producer who has recorded all the songs made as One Dream Duo)

and also international such as:
Jose Luis Climent - Barcelona (producer and sound engineer of the Stop, Stop! Album where I collaborated)
Jacob Hansen - Denmark (producer of the mastering of the Stop, Stop! Album and the song "Big Vaccine").
