My name is Michael Smallman and I am a freelance producer and studio/live sound engineer who is best known for my work at Gasworks studios.

Michael Smallman is a Brisbane based music producer, studio and live sound engineer who is best known for his work at Gasworks studios.
Originally from regional New South Wales, Michael relocated to Brisbane in 2010 to pursue a career as a session drummer. After commencing a BMus at the Queensland University of Technology in 2011, Michael's new found passion for music production took over. Since then Michael has been working as an assistant engineer with QUT students and professors primarily for university projects (100 songs/Indie 1oo, Deep Blue Orchestra).
More recently, Michael has been lucky enough to tour nationally as a live sound engineer for the Deep Blue Orchestra (2012), engineer singles for bands and solo artists and travel abroad in Europe (2013).
