Remote Mix, Master, Musician

I am a multi-instrumentalist and audio worker living in regional New South Wales, Australia. Having spent the last 20 years developing musicianship and audio engineering in my local community, I feel as though I have my own skill set to offer the online community here at Sound Better.

I have been developing myself as a hybrid musician over the past 20 years with a focus on being able to make music my sole focus in the past few years. I love taking on projects where I might wear a few hats. For example in my sound files I've included 'Easy I Fall' by Grace Turner in which I recorded and played all instruments besides the lead vocal.

I'm equally grateful to focus on the exact service you need whether that is a drum track, mixing, mastering or editing. My mixing and mastering credits run the style gamut from intimate singer songwriter through to extreme metal which I absolutely love as genuine fan of all music. I like to mix quickly to get the best of my intuition, however, because this is a collaborative process I am understanding of the need for revisions due to us not being in the same room.

My drumming strengths are in situations where I am honouring your song in a way without over-playing. Trying to add a meaningful drum part that fits with the sounds and themes. If the song needs some percussive ear worms I'm always experimenting with running my drums through guitar pedals or different filters to see what happens and can provide these tracks alongside the drum set files.
