Hip-Hop Mixing & Mastering Engineer
Who I am:
My name is Dimitri.
I am a renowned self-made artist & engineer from Luxembourg.
Being a "cloud-rapper" myself 11 years ago, I had to teach myself how to get big sounding records with very little to begin with...
Now, more than a decade later, I have grown into a world-class self-producing artist and started recording & engineering for other artists in 2015 as a side-hustle.
This side hustle has grown into a full business and here I am expanding to soundbetter.com
What I have to offer:
You only have a beat (as mp3/wav) & your pre-recorded vocals but don't know how to make your sound pop? Look no further... I am your man.
I might not have big names in my credits, but I know exactly what you need.
Having been in your shoes 10 years ago, I have acquired the knowledge to make your art sound the way you envisioned it in your head at first, at a very affordable rate.
From Travis Scott to Lil Baby, I know what it takes to make your mix sound like they do.
As long as your performance is on point in front of the mic, nothing can stand in our way to achieve the results you are looking for.

Interview with Dimitri Kanth
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will make you sound as good as you can sound at your current level and give you tips on how to improve (if desired).
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I can only make you sound as good as you are. Of course the finished song is gonna sound 10x better than the raw version. But I can't turn shit to gold.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Listen to their sample song(s). It will tell you if what they do is what you are looking for.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Get your raw recordings to sound as good as they can be before editing/mixing.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rap and every sub-genre associated with it.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Getting the most out of every song without compromising.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: 10+ years of experience, creative involvement (if desired) as I am a succesful rapper myself, the best sounding plug-ins on the market and how to use them effectively for your song.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Minimalistic. 1 Computer, 1 USB-Interface, 1 pair of monitors and my DAW + Plugins is all you need.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Tory Lanez, Drake & Ace Hood.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing pre-recorded rap-vocals to a 1-file instrumental (like you get on beatstars.com).
