Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I will treat the song as a record, not a template. You will get a clearer, harder and more competitive version that stays faithful to the personality of your performance and rough mix.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Do not record every double with the same energy as the lead. Decide whether each layer should add width, aggression, rhythm or emphasis—then perform and mix it for that exact job.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Deutschrap, street rap, trap and melodic Auto-Tune rap are my core. I also work comfortably on boom bap, modern hip-hop and R&B-influenced records in German, English and Luxembourgish.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I am especially proud of building the Hayda catalog and the current rap mix reel around it. I was not just the engineer: across these records I worked as artist, songwriter, producer and mix/master engineer. That end-to-end responsibility taught me how every decision—from the first line to the final limiter—has to serve the same emotion.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: New Hayda releases and remote mix-and-master projects for independent rap artists, with a current focus on German-speaking street, trap and melodic rap.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That impact comes from making everything louder. A powerful rap mix comes from contrast: the vocal must own the right space, the low end must stay controlled and every layer needs a clear role.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What should the listener feel? Which one or two songs define the target? What bothers you about the rough mix right now? I also confirm the available stems, tuning needs, deadline and required deliverables before I start.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Choose an engineer whose portfolio already lives close to your world. Send a rough mix, organized vocal files and one or two references, then explain the emotion you want—not just technical terms.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I started by writing, recording and producing my own music as Hayda more than 10 years ago. Because I wanted full control over how the songs felt, I learned mixing and mastering from the inside out, then began engineering other artists in 2015.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Vocal-forward, hard-hitting and modern, with controlled sub energy, clear words and effects that create movement. I like dark, emotional records that feel polished but never sterile.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: First I listen to the rough mix and references and define what the song should make the listener feel. Then I check and edit the files, anchor the lead vocal, shape doubles, ad-libs, tuning and effects, integrate everything with the beat and finish the master. The first version is normally ready in 1–3 days, followed by two focused revision rounds.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: RAF Camora inspires me for atmosphere and vocal production, PA Sports for directness and emotion, Bushido for weight and space, and Shindy for detail and polish. I study what makes those records feel expensive without losing personality.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Making rap vocals sound expensive, present and emotionally convincing—even when the artist only has a stereo beat instead of full instrumental stems.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I bring the perspective of both an artist and an engineer. I hear the technical problems, but I also notice when a hook needs more lift, an ad-lib can create movement or a section is losing the listener.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: My studio is built around a focused in-the-box workflow, accurate monitoring and fast recall. That lets me make consistent decisions, turn revisions around quickly and keep remote projects moving without technical friction.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: Most clients send me recorded rap vocals and a stereo beat. I clean, edit and tune the vocals, build the lead/double/ad-lib balance and effects, then deliver a hard-hitting mix and release-ready master as one coherent process.
