Turn your ideas into musical reality. Whether it's producing songs from scratch, co-writing, mixing, or simply contributing keyboards or vocals to your tracks, I have you covered.
As a producer, songwriter, & arranger, I help artists turn their musical ideas into reality, collaborating to create top level tracks from scratch. Equipped with industry standard gear, I can create a wide range of tracks from R&B beats to hard hitting rock tunes. If you want a live band for your music, I have access to high level session players who can add live drums, guitar, and bass to your tracks.
If your music is already recorded I can mix & master it for you. With over 14 years of mixing experience, I can provide the clarity and power your music needs. I also edit my mixes, providing vocal tuning, and instrument tightening.
As a session keyboardist I can add varied textures to your music, including piano, electric piano, organ, synth, & more. Also, I can contribute bass, drums, strings, and brass.
I've sung professionally for over 14 years as a band front person, opera singer, music theater performer, and backing vocalist. I also hold a masters degree in voice. I can contribute both soaring lead vocals and dense backing harmonies in a variety of styles including pop, rock, R&B, soul, and classical.

Aaron was able to produce the samples for my indoor percussion group to the exact specifications I had provided him with. He delivered high quality vocal samples within a timely manner and revised samples if we wanted them performed a different way than originally planned. I highly recommend Aaron for any sample creation and mixing of those samples to get the exact effect you are trying to achieve.
Aaron was absolutely wonderful to work with! He's attentive, professional, and quick to turnaround an awesome product. I definitely recommend working with him for all your production needs!!
Working with Aaron was an absolute pleasure. Great production quality and the additional vocal/keyboard parts were arranged very well. They really brought my song to the next level. Delivery was timely and communication throughout was excellent. I would not hesitate to work with him again!
I've had very rewarding experiences working with Aaron. He takes great pride in his work and has done a beautiful job executing my ideas into great sounding, quality songs. Aaron has provided me with helpful advice and tips when recording my vocals for our projects from my home studio. He is a real team player, and prioritizes my vision while expressing his own artistic input and maintaining integrity- qualities which I believe are rare to find in the music industry. I feel everything is possible when working on projects with Aaron- I hope to keep making music with him well into the future!
Interview with Aaron Cafaro
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on a cover of "What is it About Men" by Amy Winehouse for the band Miss Milo.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital, because it's more flexible, takes up virtually no physical space, is very inexpensive, and sounds great!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise that I'll do everything I can to make sure my clients are 100% satisfied.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How much money, and how long will it take? Both of these questions depend on the given project. A full production can take anywhere between a week and a month, while a mix or keyboard/vocal part can be done in 3 days. It depends on the project.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: One big misconception is the idea that things sound "good." After working on one session, one will realize that sound is almost entirely subjective, and a client's opinion of a mix simply depends on if they like it, and how many times they've heard it.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What exactly is the client looking for, and what isn't the client looking for.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Have a clear idea of what you want and try to canvey it in the best way possible. Effective vision building between provider and client makes things way easier.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Computer, external SSD, keyboard (with midi), headphones, & a comfortable chair.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I'm been in music production for over 14 years. I started out playing in bands at age 12 and never looked back. One interesting thing about my career path is that I'm a singer and teacher of singing, and hold a masters degree in voice pedagogy.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is diverse, but always aims for clarity, depth, and power.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Most people listening to your mixes are not audio professionals, so don't get hung up on pointless details that no-one will hear; always focus on the big picture. All that matters is what comes out of the speakers; no one cares about fancy mixing techniques and how many hours you spent EQing a snare drum. Mixing is a race against the clock, not the clients deadline, but the mixers ears.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work in "pop", however all of the artists I work with are multifaceted, containing elements of rock, R&B, and soul.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is turning an artist's musical ideas into complete songs which meet industry standards. My skills as a composer & arranger allow me to turn simple musical ideas into multi-textured soundscapes, rich with excitement and beauty. Then, my expertise in mixing and mastering allows me to bring clarity and punch to these fully developed songs.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a diverse sonic palate, creating songs from scratch or providing keyboard and/or vocal parts. Also, my mixes create depth, clarity, and power in your music.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: If my role is as producer in a given project, the process usually starts with the client and I sharing demos and having a meeting about the project. Once we create a shared vision, I begin tracking and sharing drafts with the client. Once the tracks for mostly finished, the client (usually a singer) sings over the track and sends me the stems. Then, with vocals in hand, I mix and master the track and send for revision. Once the client is 100% satisfied, the project is complete. For mixing, the process is very simple. The client sends me the audio files, we discuss what exactly they're looking for in their mix, and I begin working. In a few days the client will receive a mix draft and provide feedback. Then I send more drafts until the client is 100% satisfied.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I'm 100% in the box, using top of the line software such as Spectrasonics Keyscape and tons of other VSTs. Pro Tools is my DAW of choice and I have countless plugins.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm inspired by a variety of musicians/producers from 1970s greats like Stevie Wonder & Fleetwood Mac to modern pop icons like Max Martin & Bruno Mars.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly work as a producer, collaborating with artists to make their musical vision become a reality. This involves recording tracks from scratch, mixing, and mastering.
