Online mixing and mastering engineer, worked at the legendary Rockfield Studios. Credits include The Quireboys, The Big Push, Public Service Broadcasting, Pretty Vicious, Fischer-Z, Thunder,
I'm a music engineer and producer based in South Wales, I run this community and the whole idea behind it was to try and give back some of the experience I've had over the past 10 years of working in the music industry.
So what have I done?? I established Op:eC Studios in Porthcawl which ran from 2010 to 2014, I then got a job working out of Rockfield Studios. In that time I've been lucky enough to work with Thunder, The Quireboys, Public Service Broadcasting, Pretty Vicious Tom Odell, Chianski and producers such as Greg Haver, Gil Norton , Gethin Pearson, Nick Brine, Peter Vetesse and a bunch of others.
For the last few years I've been based out of Leeders Vale Studios running a hybrid SSL setup and offering online mixing, mastering and editing work.

Endorse Jon ConstantineI’ve had the privilege of Jon producing and mixing a number of my projects… some being entirely studio based and others remotely - both with results of the highest quality.
In the studio, his ability to make the performer feel at ease, his attention to detail and willingness to experiment with different sounds, textures and techniques is second to none… for this reason he has always been the go to person for mixing and recording!
He is very patient and always willing to go the extra mile. I’ve also learned lots from him via his enthusiasm as an educator.
Highly recommended!!
Hi folks, I wanted to take a step up to studio recording after demoing at home. I had 10 songs ready to go so I booked two days with Jon. Jon was able to advise on what was possible over the two days and guide my recording process. We managed to get 10 basic guitar and vocal tracks done. Here's where it gets interesting. I wanted to add 'more' to the tracks.
A few overdubs etc. With time being a factor for me Jon suggested:
• Record some tracks at home. • Send them to him. • He would mix them with the original recordings. • Send to me for approval. This saved the day! Amazing work. Thx!I have used Jon on several occasions. We usually work remotely and it is always quick, easy and just what I want. I send him my recorded vocals and backing tracks and he edits the vocals then mixes and masters it. I very rarely need any mix changes as they're always just as I want them, but it's nice to know they're available if needed. It's great value for money and a really convenient way of working for me personally.
Jon has been an engineer on many of my projects over the past 8 years & has been working with me at Leeders Vale for the last 6 years. He is my go to engineer & always delivers. He's worked with me at many large, established studios on big projects but mainly working in Rockfield & Leeders Vale. He also works as a Producer in his own right & the quality of work speaks for itself.Jon always goes the extra mile to make sure the music is right. He gets it & he cares. He's the most proficient Pro Tools engineer I've come across.I also send him work for editing, mixing & mastering & it's always class
Having worked with Jon for nearly 10 Years, and 4 albums, I can safely say you’ll be in good hands with him.
Jon’s career has developed alongside mine (and my band) and his experience of working with A-list bands has slowly filtered into my (and the other band he works with) work. Over the years I’ve spoken to lots of people who have worked with Jon. Words like ‘professional’, ‘consistent’, ‘patient’ and ‘reliable’ have been used many times.
Jon will work until it’s right. He is easy to work with, but he will ALWAYS do the right thing for the music. That’s all anyone needs to know.
