Hi! I am a New Hampshire born, New York established and now Denver based audio engineer. During the 13 years I spent working in NYC, I was lucky to make a ton of records with a huge variety of independent as well as some major label artists. That experience taught me to be versatile and fast in many different studio situations.
I Do All things ProTools: Recording, mixing, music production, sound design, voiceover, dialog spotting, editing. Clients have told me often that I handle complicated edits faster and more accurately than most. Nearly daily use since 2003.
Live Acoustic Recording: I love working in the studio with groups making jazz, folk, bluegrass and world albums. Let's get in a great sounding room with some nice mics and play some good music.
Hip Hop/Rap/Electronic: While in NYC from 2005-2015 I estimate that I worked on at least 2,000 songs and I'm still excited to make some more hip hop and electronic music that stretches some boundaries and pushes me to get new sounds every session.
Voiceover/Audiobook/Industrial: Precise and fast editing.
Instrumental abilities: I consider myself fairly competent playing and recording guitar, bass, simple piano parts, synth programming, drum programming, midi, sampling. There's been countless times where I've ended up playing something on someone's project and I almost never charge for it.
