Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be open to artists not sounding exactly like you thought you wanted, and try them out... You might be surprised;-)
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My macbook, microphone, 1974 telecaster, my espressomachine and some kickass colleagues to play with;-)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been a professional singer for aprox 30 years, and have huge experience in genres like Rock, soul, musical, jazz and more......
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Rock'n'Soul:-).
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would with any artist who inspires me. Can't just name one:-)
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Be your self and don't always compare yourself to others.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work on numerous genres, but mostly rock, soul and jazz.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am inspired by so many different artists like Van Morisson, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, Sting, Prince, Chris Stapleton, Macy Gray, and many more! No specific genre, but artists who have the ability to speak from the heart with their own original sound, energy and soul.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: It very hard to name just one... But I've recorded numerous danish vocal versions of cartoons such as Planes(Lenny kravitz songs), Frozen, Phenieas and Ferb and more. The most fun I had was recording the title song for the animated movie Ronal The Barbarian (Babarian Rhapsody)... Check it out!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to deliver an honest professional sounding product, with originality and dedication.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Right now I'm working on my own project, to be published later this year.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I combine the two, just because it feels right for me and my voice.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love the creative process, and every song is different and requires different solutions.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Hmm... Don't really know. people usually keep their misconceptions to themselves:-)
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I would always ask a client about the story behind a song, what feeling is wanted and if the client wants me to copy the cue vocals completely, or give my own take.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill would be my power, musicality and my creativity. Also my background vocal productions.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring life and energy to a song, with respect for the original track. I usually pickup the vibe of a song quite fast, so I can adapt to the feeling and find what will make the melody "fly".

A: My main vocal setup: SE2200 microphone - Presonus Studio Channel preamp - TC electronic Compact Twin interface - Presonus Studio One Pro.

A: I mostly track lead and background -vocals.
