Hello, I am Chris Allison, Pro Trumpet Player, Arranger, and Composer. I am here to provide you with professional and high-energy horn sessions for your music project. Each member of the section is a professionally trained and hard-working musician. We will ensure we add that missing element to any body of music.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: D'Angelo
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: The key is blending
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I normally work on R&B and Hip-hop
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is allowing the horns to blend smoothly with your project and not take over.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring soul, funk, and originality.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to have a conversation with the artist to see what exactly they are looking for. If they already have a part in mind I ask for them to provide or give an example. If they do not have one, I will spend time composing parts and laying horns on the project in the areas they wanted and also add more lines in other areas where I see them working. I will send updates on my progress to see if I am in the correct direction for their project. Sending edits until we get it just right.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am inspired by Good TIme Brass horn section, Roy Hargrove, Tower of Power, Keyond Harold, and Melvin Jones
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I composed, mix, and master horn sessions for my clients. I give my clients original horn parts to add to their projects. I will also mix them down and send separate stems per the client's request.
