We engaged Robin in summer 2020 for both a major and a minor CD project, recorded in the Arillas Sunset Studios in Corfu. Robin was perfectly well prepared, and his working style is focused and concentrated. So the recording worked like a charm. Despite the fact that our music might not neccessarily be the style of music Robin is most acquainted with, he was able to catch the spirit and transform our musical ideas into recorded tracks. Apart from his musical skills, we appreciate Robin as a calm, reliable, pleasant and somewhat understating person, creative but nonetheless down-to-earth.

Robin is a multi-facetted guitarist, one I was always in awe of ever since first witnessing him play live (some 15 years or so ago). Apart from being exceptionally skilled in a technical sense, Robin has a very warm personality and a fiery drive to make music, with fresh ideas sprouting up all the time!

I have worked quite a lot with Robin recently and I have to say that he is one of the most talented guys I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Robin can do exactly what you tell him to but his strength is his spontaneity and ingenuity.
A definite help in the songwrting process but also just a damn good guitar player and an easy going, respectful, down to earth guy.
I would recommend Robin to anyone looking for a songwrting partner or a session guitar/bass player, his work adds the cherry on the top of any recording cake !
