  3. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  4. A: I will do everything in my power to provide you with an end product you can be proud of!

  5. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  6. A: Co-creating with all different types of people!

  7. Q: How would you describe your style?

  8. A: Emo pop with a minimalist touch.

  9. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  10. A: I mainly work with instrumental type tracks and beats!

  11. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  12. A: I bring an eclectic musical palette with various influences, as well as a "musician forward" creative process. I understand the function & place of most instruments in a record because I can play them. I'm also a skilled active listener and want to help you in bringing your project to life!

  13. Q: What's your typical work process?

  14. A: My "typical" process depends on the project at hand. In terms of working with clients, I start with a conversation about mood, feeling, sound, etc. and try to build ideas from there. I'll then sit down either with my guitar or in front of a keyboard to get some chords going. Melody will follow next.

  15. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  16. A: A modest home studio with multiple MIDI controllers, guitars, bass, etc. I do most of my production "in the box" with the addition of some live instrumentation.

  17. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  18. A: I really love pop music - of course that is a wide range. More specifically, I dig Ariana Grande (Max Martin, Social House), Dua Lipa (Ian Kirkpatrick), Selena Gomez (Ian Kirkpatrick), Charlie Puth, Lorde (Melodrama specifically) I love emo and alternative artists such as Wicca Phase Springs Eternal, American Football, Movements, Balance & Composure, Joyce Manor, etc. As for classical composers I admire Steve Reich, Philip Glass, Dustin O'Halloran, Dardust and Erik Satie. Other artists who inspire my sound are Margaret Glaspy, TOPS, Best Coast, Incubus, Now Now, Tigers Jaw, Hop Along, etc.

  19. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  20. A: Clients generally come to me for beats & instrumental records.
