Interview with Loloree
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: At the moment I'm working on my mixtape called " Jack of All trades". I decided to make a mixtape because I need to prove that I can not only write but perform my work too.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That I won't sleep until the job is done. I finish what I start. I have the references to prove it.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'm a conversationalist. I like artist that tell a story, and put me in the song as if I was there. And everytime you hear these artist, you know its them because they are so unique. Chance the Rapper J.Cole Chole x Halle Lady Leshurr T-Pain Drake
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: If your in it for the money.. than don't do it.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I've worked on various genres R&B, Hip-Hop, pop, and spoken word.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strong skill is talking and, because I'm good at holding conversation I'm able to know what people want to hear. Don't you love it when you hear a song and you can feel it in your heart, soul, and mind. That's my goal when I make, or write music for others.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring unique and live experiences. I bring a lyrical visional that places you in the song. Every poem in my collection is from a time and place in my life that I experienced. It may take a mixture of 4-7 of my poems... but your song will be like no other.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It all starts with your idea. Either your in the process of making a beat or you already have one prepared. You must give me examples of what your looking for, and be open to try new things.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm inspired by the 70's and 90's. There's something about the artist and musicians from those era's that make there sound so unique. You'll start to see how I utilize those era's in my up and coming project " Jack of All trades' coming out before October.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I recently started writing songs for friends after I did an open Mic event and they saw my talent. After that I than decided to convert all my books full of poems into songs and to take it seriously. But I'm known for hosting events and creating a fun environment.
