Really appreciate the work that Rahul did on this. The piano made a huge difference in how the track feels. Natural sounding & beautiful melodies. Would love to work together again!

Rahul created the Jingle for my financial literacy programme, OuKass, on live radio (Top FM) and streamed on TopTV. Very excited about this collaboration and satisfied with the work done.

A fabulous and seasoned pianist. Rahul has a great ability to introduce complex technicalities in covers of pop songs. I have experienced this in our own collaborations, as well as watching him in solo performances.

  1. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  2. A: My current studio hardware and software gear: East West sounds, Logic Pro X, Novation Launchpad, Senheiser HD 200, KRK KNS 8400, Alesis Recital Keyboard.

  3. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  4. A: I always look to bring the best out of both the composition and the sound always looking for high quality result. To look for what's best from an audience perspective.

  5. Q: What's your typical work process?

  6. A: I normally use the piano to compose. Once an outline of the composition is done I move towards the production phase and the orchestration/instrumentation. For productions, I always start with re-arranging the tracks and layout and choosing the best takes out of all recorded materials, whether it's MIDI or Audio. Editing comes next, cleaning all the takes in one coherent piece. Mixing and mastering done simultaneously afterwards to correct tonal, dynamic and acoustic issues and polish the loudness.

  7. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  8. A: Avoid redundancy and always aim to look for what's wrong in the mix and refrain from constantly adding stuff to fix it. Keeping things simple is most of the times the best decision. When mixing it's also important to give your ears regular breaks to keep a fresh perspective and avoid possible misjudgements

  9. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  10. A: My strongest skills are my performance, composition and arranging skills.

  11. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  12. A: Yamaha p-45, Novation Launchpad, KRK 8400 Headphones, Focusrite Scarlett interface, Macbook pro
