For dark, complex, unpredictable and noisy music. I'm all about storytelling, atmosphere and immersion.
I’m Joe, a composer and producer based on São Paulo, a dark, complex and unpredictable place, full of strange customs and cultures – just like the music I work on.
As a mix engineer I always bring part of my personality to the project, I don’t believe in being technical in a creative field, that’s why I always work with artists as equals, not as a service provider.
I believe music can be much more than just sound to dance to or feel something. It can be a path to put the listener in a certain headspace and allow it to experience new ways of being. It can be a tool for discovering meaning and it can entirely change someone’s personality. My process is highly conceptual and immersive – I care about your music and what you’re trying to communicate. You can count on me if you want your music to have a creative spark, excitement, storytelling and atmosphere.
It's been already 10 years since I'm producing, most of it was for my own pleasure, only the last few were fully professional. I can confidently say that since the beginning, there wasn’t a single week where I didn’t create music.
I’m always into something creative. If I’m not making music, you can be sure that I’m taking photographs, reading surreal novels, playing indie games, visiting museums or being obsessed about something really specific.
Eager to hear what you’ve been creating,
Joe

Joe respected the fact that I'm an audio engineer myself and was happy to share his process when I asked him to explain his mixdown technique.
Minimum respect expected between fellow artists/engineers, but to me this goes a long way. Will definitely work with him again ;) - check_circleVerified

A: Arrangement, additional production, mixing, processing, creative direction.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Post-Industrial / Psychedelic Electronics
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Music Production benefits from colaboration and outside perspectives, if you're open for someone else's input on your song you may be surprised!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
