Audio engineer with experience mixing diverse genres like hip hop, metal, rock, EDM, reggeaton and pop who also has produced several songs in reggeaton and trap. I work with every audio program but my specialty is Pro Tools for mixing and recording and Ableton Live for music production.

  1. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  2. A: Finishing a poryect and seeing that the artist/band is happy with their mix and are excited to release it.

  3. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  4. A: Look for the best engineer and producer in your genre.

  5. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  6. A: I started when I was 14 as a hobby but, started working on mixing professionally since 17 and have worked with local and international artists from multiple genres from all latin America and U.S.A..

  7. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  8. A: Simplicity is key, dedication and passion.

  9. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  10. A: Experience and I treat each proyect as if it was my own.

  11. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  12. A: I have a home studio which is acoustically treated with professional studio monitors, high end microphones and interface.

  13. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  14. A: Sol y Luna by Joe Mav, because we put a lot of work and effort on it and it was the culmination of several years worth of experience in both producing and mixing.

  15. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  16. A: I´m working on two proyects, one is RnB and the other is reggeaton.

  17. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  18. A: I do not know anybody on this platform.

  19. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  20. A: Both, digital for comodity, faster workflow and cheaper, Analog for that warmth in the sound.

  22. A: I will treat each proyect as if it was my own.

  24. A: They normally ask about my experience and i show them my portafolio.

  25. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  26. A: That mixing is easy.

  28. A: What is the vibe your are looking for? Show me at least 3 references of Artists/Bands that sound like you How many tracks are in the multitrack? Did you record it in a professional or home studio? What microphone did you use on the vocals?

  29. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  30. A: Krk Studio monitors, ssl2 interface, ml 1 mic, Teletronix la2a and a Pultec Equalizer.

  31. Q: How would you describe your style?

  32. A: My style is based on contrast and what i feel is the best vibe for each individual proyect.

  33. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  34. A: Kendrick Lamar because i find his music very interesting and inspiring .

  35. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  36. A: I work on any kind of genre because i enjoy listening to any kind of music but lately i have worked on rap and hip hop proyects.

  37. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  38. A: Mixing, i have done it since i was 14.

  39. Q: What's your typical work process?

  40. A: First i talk with the client to see what are the intentions and feelings of the proyect and see how i can implement that into the mix, then i ask for the audio files and start mixing.

  42. A: Chris Lorde-Alge, Pharrel Williams and Kendrick Lamar.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: I do mostly mixing, recording and producing.
