I'm a bassist, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and composer located in Los Angeles, my primary instrument being electric bass for over 30 years. I grew up as a prog rock kid, but after recording and gigging for years playing and studying genres from reggae to old-school country to all manner of rootsy American music, I've honed a very solid, classic bass style that harkens back to the 60's and 70's, when basslines helped tell the story of the song with a less-is-more aesthetic. Groovy, tastefully melodic, and adding to the arc of the music whether Americana, singer-songwriter, folk, retro soul, country, roots, reggae, or rock. Bassists that I admire these days are the greats like Klaus Voorman, Bill Wyman, Tommy Cogbill, Bob Glaub, John Deacon, Macca, Dee Murray, and Family Man.
