Here to collaborate alongside creatives and their teams; bringing material from its current status, to an industry standard production.
Hi all!
I am a producer, arranger & songwriter committed to bringing musical concepts to life and reimagining existing material for uses such as live performances/music videos, film music etc...
My day to day life consists of working alongside artists, producers and songwriters to ensure the realisation of a common goal.
I believe that there is no such thing as a problem, only a solution!
Most recently I have been working alongside award winning, Oscar shortlisted London based music producer Pete "Boxta" Martin however my career extends back through projects with both established and emerging artists/producers some of which include Nigel Frieda (Rolling Stones, SugarBabes), Ron Winter (Death Row Records), Alus (Nicki Minaj, Danity Kane), Hatty Keane (BGM Entertainment) and many more.
In parallel to my life in the studio, my role as a session guitarist and MD has brought with it an extensive background in live arrangement.
I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with artists to mould repertoire into a powerful and mesmerising setlist which will promise to captivate an audience.
To date I have played, arranged, produced and written on a multitude of pop records.
Within a collaborative project I aim to pay strict attention to detail, stick to deadlines and provide excellent communication.

100% going to work with him in the futureNot only Evin is a talented musician/producer/songwriter, he is an amazing listener and I can assure you he will do anything in his power to deliver to you something you are completely satisfied with.
Working with him allowed me to find the best vocal processing for my voice, and we all know how important that is for an artist! Ahaha
Highly recommended for his versatility and energetic vibes as well!To have Evin work on a track ensures not only quality of the highest order but also there is an energy he brings to the table that I have found to be one of the most enjoyable aspects of music collaboration. His incredible work ethic combined with his impressive musical knowledge guarantees the best finished piece possible. His ability to communicate his ideas and adapt to every artist of every style/genre is really what makes him the best man for any job. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Best Guitarist and arranger I have ever worked with! Crazy skills and musicality. Great personality in the studio. Prices well worth the service!
A great producer to work with. Gives you a great blend of direction and individual freedom. Very professional and a great communicator!
From the first rehearsal I had in which Evin was the lead guitarist, I was in awe of his brilliance and his stage presence. I then approached him about working on my solo project and he is a genuine delight to work with. He is warm and with a beautiful personality to match, kind, generous and very focused and hardworking.
Working with and alongside Evin is one of the highlights of my career and I am looking forward to being on stage with him once again and to more collaborations in the future.

Interview with Evin Durkin
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: This conversation is one that I tend to stay away from in a sense. For me, achieving a solid sound that my client is happy with is the one and only thing that matters. I use whatever it takes to get to that point, analog or digital.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The feeling of fulfilment that overcomes me when an artist is truly excited by a work that I have completed is out of this world! It solidifies my belief in what I'm doing and in times of uncertainty, pushes my forward to once again reach this moment.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Guitar solos in every song! This is NOT TRUE! 😂 Although I love a solid guitar solo, it is only added upon request or if the song requires it!
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Within a collaborative project I always hope to find a base level of compassion where both parties are able to freely express ourselves. And so it is my hope that everyone who embarks on a project, will do so with an open mind thus allowing creativity to flourish.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work alongside Andrew Watt as he is everything I strive to become as a producer. You just need to scroll through is discography to understand why!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: One factor that I have found to be very helpful as a producer is to always have a solid vocal sound. I think it can be one of the most difficult challenges to overcome as a producer as every artist has their own unique way of perceiving their vocals within a mix. Theres no size fits all in this situation, however, through understanding your fellow collaborator you can accurately realise this sound and in turn - apply it!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually find myself working with artists, producers and songwriters on tracks that are up to date in todays music industry. It is my wish to stay ahead of the curve rather than sticking to a sound which may eventually render itself to be out of date.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is empathy. While all the technical skills are very relevant to be able to achieve a sound that is up to standard, I have found through the many collaborative projects that I have engaged in, they require a deep understanding of my fellow collaborator. This has always ensured a confident end result for me personally.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Throughout my existing discography both as an artist and producer/songwriter a theme of nostalgia and sentiment can be heard within the sounds and production techniques that I use. Whether I'm working through a lighthearted, upbeat pop track or a somber ballad I have found this to be my identity as a songwriter and producer, however, I deeply believe that producers are servants to the artist and so through experience, I have learnt to tone this influence down in times where it may not be needed!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I believe deeply in building a friendly work based relationship with my clients. As an artist myself, I understand the need of other artists to be understood, so I always prioritise my time to ensure that my clients are first and foremost comfortable. After establishing goals and aspirations it's flat out work from there onwards; constructing and rearranging tracks, going through revisions and finally arriving at the release process. Each and every project is defiantly a journey but I love every bit of it!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My day to day studio setup would largely be described as "portable"! I keep everything simple so that I can easily move around in the fast paced nature of Londons music industry. However, if the job requires it, I can gather my team and head out to a studio for a day or two!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My production and sound design is largely influenced by contemporary sounds of today however I have a deep love for music of the 1980's and 90's. You can defiantly hear this influence creep into my work every now and then!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most often than not, I work in collaboration an artist to help him/her reach a goal. That is the bottom line. This would usually be achieved through writing, mixing, arranging material or in other situations, some direction and a plan is all an artist needs to realise their goals.
