Songwriting is my passion, poetry is my goal, musicality is my priority.
I can play and record electric guitar, electric bass, drumpads, keyboards, and vocals. So I'm a ready, willing and able session musician with access to basic recording equipment (Ableton Live 10 Standard, SM58, focusrite audio interface, orange crush amp, novation midi keyboard with pads). My guitar style is shaped by incorporating principles of both rhythm and lead to create an all-encompassing sound that can carry a song with little support. A similar ethos goes into my bass playing, which is often melodic yet quintessentially rhythmic. Conveying a sense of a musician's discipline and creativity whilst also making music people can genuinely recognise and enjoy is my definition of the balancing act for great artists. I am also a songwriter, lyricist and composer. My lyrics are confessional, often focused on brutal honesty, and influenced by rap and poetry. I try to create a unique voice and perspective in the conceptual side of the songs I create. My vocal range is baritone with some bass and some tenor. My tone is smooth and cautiously emotive, with a reasonable level of dexterity learned in a variety of contexts including choirs and bands.
