Interview with Stepan Chervyakov
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: If I make music or mix tracks - I wake up, drink a cup of coffee and dive right into it until making it done. While mixing I choose the soundscape I'm going for and go step by step through each audio track. to build a brand new world for a track.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I prefer to make music in Ableton Live with Ableton Push controller - it helps to incorporate all of my ideas easily within seconds. I got KRK Studio Monitors, AKG Mic, Fender electric and bass guitars, Taylor acoustic guitar, Behringer DeepMind 12 analog synth, a bunch of virtual instruments.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I grew up listening to Muse, Coldplay, Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Korn, but lately, my inspiration was coming from Linkin Park and Mike Shinoda productions. Also, the electronic side of my skills was build and is inspired by the work of Deadmau5 and well-known YouTuber Andrew Huang.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mostly I produce music and make full arrangements out of a simple demos and then I mix it, or I just mix tracks for artists. Less often I record artists at my AT Basement studio.

Alright, guys. Due to what's happening in Russia I had to do that - I moved out of Russia and I've chosen Bali as my new homeland. In these challenging times, I need to keep my head clear to be able to make great music and that healing land is the best way for me to stay pure.
