  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I worked on a feature film called Zanka Contact. Im really proud of the drum sound because it tied all the other instruments together. Its also been nominated for "Best Soundtrack of the Year"

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Im currently preparing for a session with Lyra at the end of the month. Im also constantly working on drum sounds.

  12. A: I love creating and being part of something bigger.

  16. A: That computers are just as good as drummers.

  18. A: What sound are you after? Who are your influences? What time frame are we looking at? Do you want multiple options?

  20. A: Don’t t be afraid to send a message and start a conversation.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I started in rock bands to then go on to study music and get a Bachelor of Music. From there I moved to London and started touring Europe with many Pop & Rock bands. I have also been doing regular sessions and creations with artists over the past few years.

  26. A: It comes from the heart, its passionate and exciting.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: John Mayer - Because I love his music and the incredible musicianship.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Start with a raw drum sound, then add the effects.

  32. A: Rock & Pop

  34. A: Drumming & Creating

  36. A: I bring years of experience and a unique drum feel.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: Firstly I listen, listen and then listen some more. Then I will talk to the artist and try to embody what sounds/vibe they want. Then I will select the drums and mic placement to get the sound thats needed for the song. Finally I will record a minimum of 3 takes to choose from. After I am happy with a take I will sent it to the artist. I will chat to the artist and see if anything needs to be improved to then do revisions. Once everyone is happy I will sent all the tracks over.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: My studio set up is great, I'm very lucky to share it with another drummer so we cover all bases when it comes to drum sounds. I have included a list of my gear on my profile page if you want to check it out.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: My drumming biggest inspirations are Steve Gadd, Steve Jordan & Taylor Hawkins. I am also inspired by many songwriters producers and art in general.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: The most common work I have is with musicians and producers. I work closely with them getting the drum sounds they want.
