Hi, I'm Mike - an experienced touring sound engineer bringing my expertise in delivering powerful live mixes and immersive stage monitoring experiences for artists like Ms. Lauryn Hill, Clean Cut Kid, Circa Waves, Marsicans and more in to the studio environment to create productions with all the energy of a great live performance!
Hi - I'm Mike and thanks for checking out my profile on Soundbetter, I'm excited to help you create something special.
I've spent my whole life gripped by the excitement of making music. After starting off as a studio engineer, learning my trade behind an SSL 4000E as an excited teenager while touring in my own bands, I've spent most of my career in live sound. I've been lucky enough to work with some incredible artists like Ms. Lauryn Hill, Echo & The Bunnymen, Circa Waves, Clean Cut Kid and many more, and I've mixed monitors and FOH across the UK, Europe and further afield everywhere from clubs to the biggest arenas and festival stages, and for national television broadcasts.
With the pandemic closing down live music, I'm available to bring my expertise at creating powerful live mixes and immersive stage monitoring experiences in to the studio to give your production all the energy of a great live show! My mix studio, The Greenhouse, is equipped with a great selection of software, along with an Allen & Heath SQ5 for high quality 24/96 IO to cover any additional tracking needs.
Not quite ready for a final mix? I can also provide remote production, do bass sessions in-house, and have an extensive network of top quality session players to take your concept from idea to completion.
