Trippy art that grabs eyeballs and melts minds. Psychedelic loops, visualizers, music videos, album art, swag—I'm down!
I've specialized in bold abstraction, kaleidoscopic color effects, trippy op art, and old school glitch art since 2013. I keep things pulsating, psychedelic, and strangely pleasurable.

just amazing. I choose Allison from her profile and she really delivered. We went back and forth for a while but she gave me more than i imagined. This whole project was catching lightning in bottle from choosing my roommate to dance and Allison to edit.

Allison will make your glitchy creative bold vision come to LIFE. Her art is acknowledged as some of the most esteemed art in the New England area.
Allison is an amazing artist, and human, with a very clear style and artistic voice. She always has a clear vision of what the visuals should do to support your music, but she is also so organized that she is extremely responsive to feedback and revisions.
Allison Tanenhaus created ecstatic artwork for my album that captured the mix of urban and rural that my music expresses. Sparkly yet grounded? Earnest yet effusive? Something like that! Also very organized and responsive to me as a client.
I worked with Allison on a video clip to a new track of mine and she did an amazing job!
So talented and professional!
I would recommendAllison is one of those rare breeds of visual artists that is able to create a bevy of boundry-pushing, high-intrigue imagery that seems to come from outer space; yet she is a super-organized and cohesive communicator with both feet firmly on the ground! We worked with her on both static album art and live-action video and couldn’t be happier with the results, delivering awesomely and within our tight deadlines.
Allison is amazing to work with, she is a wizard when it come to cool abstract animated/graphics! She helped me create really fun, bold animated graphics to promote my single and I would def use her again! She is professional, delivered on-time and went above and beyond with options!
Allison is one of the best artists in the digital realm. The visual work she’s done for my electronic music—installations, music videos, live performance graphics, and album art—is the most in-tune representation out there.
Interview with Allison Tanenhaus
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I'm extremely attentive and flexible, and while I'm confident in my artistry, I bring no ego to the table. I listen carefully to what the artist wants, internalize the track, and devote my energy to delivering a unique, eye-catching result that's mesmerizing, meaningful, and memorable.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital, though I incorporate analog source material, old school emulators, and tons of handmade touches
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I grew up in the suburbs of NY, so in high school I was lucky enough to attend shows in the city. I worked merch tables, created swag, and tagged along on summer tours. I became a college radio DJ, interned at labels, and eventually fell deep into the design and video side of things. Now I collaborate with musicians of every genre to create and unleash groovy maximalist loops and videos.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Anything I make will be engaging, original, and never cheesy. It needs to pass my own personal "cool test." If I wouldn't share it proudly, you shouldn't either!
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What are you envisioning? How should it feel? Do you have specific requests or particular colors, vibes, styles, or eras in mind? Is there pre-existing art, photography, video footage, typography, or branding I should match or incorporate? Is there any art from my website, Instagram, or past projects that you're particularly drawn to? And, of course, I'd like to know if you have questions for me!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I'm dedicated to matching my visuals to a song's rhythm and core sensation. It's vitally important to me that the imagery and movement enhance the music in an integrated way, rather than simply serve as wallpaper-y afterthoughts.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I create album art, music videos, loops, swag, and branding for musicians, plus large-scale projections for performances and public art installations.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I'm extremely flexible and versatile. My styles cover a range of genres, colors, and vibes, from soothing pastel waves to maximalist neon glitches. No matter which flavor we go with, you'll end up with magically hypnotic art you've never quite experienced before.
