Working in a very well designed and outfitted control room allows me to make informed decisions on your song. Having had the chance to record and mix for some of pop musics biggest names like Rob Thomas, Il Divo and Redman I know how to deliver in many styles and genres! Let's make this happen!
Here on Soundbetter I am offering mixing, editing and remote recording services for music
Working for a very wide range of artists from Indie Rock bands to Hip Hop legends I've learned many tricks. The biggest one for sure is to make the client happy! I try to make my decisions based on the aesthetic of the song and production. I specialize in making full, focused and balanced mixes that will translate to any environment.
Some things just need some salt and pepper and other projects require open heart surgery.. Depending on what state your song is in will determine the rate for your project or song.

Working with Rich on my CD in 2015-16 was a great experience. He was incredibly creative, insightful and a positive force, leading to its completion.
I've worked with Rich for well over 15 years...he's engineered various projects I produced; he's hired me as a session keyboardist, and we have even co-written material together.
I can say that without a doubt, Rich has the all-inclusive skill set needed to succeed in producing great songs. He's an absolute pleasure to deal with...totally professional but easy-going, and willing to make suggestions that often tip the production back on track to sounding great. I would stake my professional reputation on recommending Rich for any project you might have. You won't be disappointed!!!I worked in Rich’s studio for several years recording my music, and look to continue to do so once COVID is a thing of the past. His professionalism, friendliness, and character, along with his ability to critique customers’ music is nothing less than inspiring.
Rich Fabrizio is the most amazing engineer and vocal producer I have very worked with. I have been working with Rich for several years on multiple projects and he has never let me down! Rich is so professional, extremely talented, flexible and unbelievably patient. He always turns whatever I do in his studio into gold! It is so important to have someone in this business that you can trust and truly cares. Rich is a skilled professional and superior in this business. It is always a pleasure to sing at his beautiful studio. I call "Frequency Recording" my happy place!
My folk-pop/Americana band, Avalanche at Dawn, just finished recording our second full-length CD at Frequency Recording. Rich Fabrizio is a professional--serious, well organized, technically and musically astute--a gifted recording engineer with high standards. At the same time, he's a pleasure to work with--patient, encouraging and flexible. The CDs sound great, capturing us at our best. We're tremendously pleased.
I have worked with Rich Fabrizio for over ten years. He has engineered various types of projects for me: solo acoustic guitar, singer-songwriter duo, jazz trio, and rock band. I keep coming back to Frequency Recording Studio because, in addition to his superior technical skills, Rich is a pleasure to work with -- patient, non-judgmental, even-tempered and helpful -- and, if you are reading this, you know how important these qualities are when you are trying to convert your musical passion into a recording!

Interview with Rich Fabrizio
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is based around an SSL Matrix Super Analog console with Barefoot monitors and Apogee converters. The control room was designed by the team that built Jungle City. I run Pro Tools and Logic DAW's with 6xUAD cards and outboard gear inserted in the console.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Any artist with a great song inspires me. If you can make my cry with just your words and a piano you've got something right.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most common session for me is recording singer songwriters and working with them to achieve the full production they are seeking.
