Interview with Josh Walker Mixes
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use an all in the box mixing and mastering strategy. My room is treated very nice to help me hear very accurately and my Focal Twin Monitors are insanely good. It's an amazing sounding setup that helps me hear very accurately to make the best mixing decisions possible.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I follow and have learned from many of the top mixing guys in the game: Jaycen Joshua, Dave Pensado, MixedbyAli...the list could go on!!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing is the thing that I get hired to do the most. Mastering is close second. A lot of people hire me to mix and master their song.
