Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I want to know the emotion driving the song, a clean mix is second to a mix that pushes forward into a feeling.

A: Knowledge is everything. Study
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Understand clients needs and vision. This is important to paving the road as well as ending up at the right destination (The mix). Assemble the right tools and work flow I deem fit for us to achieve the goals discussed. You pay me for my insight so I offer that up front and recommend and build around that, however its your project so I make sure the artistic influences and changes made are elements you like.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Punk/Indie Pop Hip Hop
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Quality and knowledge above all else. There is a reason the studio has been here 30+ years. Having explored different genres I am able to incorporate new and interesting sounds without diverting away from the original idea or theme. Professionalism is a characteristic I am proud to bring to this rather fast and loose industry. This means responsibility for project completions, prompt turnarounds, willingness to collaborate and work together.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: With great gear such as the Distressor, Fern V2, Great River a few Avalons and BAE 1073s and a Manly, we can create a unique sound right at the source and build up. Two Neumann KH 420 speakers that offer great transparency as well as two Yahams NS10s for granular mixing and critiquing all inside a professionally treated room.

A: Mix and Master Engineer for Punk/Indie, Pop and Hip Hop
