Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Maj O' Narley's "The Gemini Effect LP" I Executive Produced this album and released it worldwide. It is a great album and Maj O Narley really showed his prowess on this album.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: At the moment we are mixing FlipWorkin's new album titled "FDR FLOWS". It is a great album and set to be released this July. Also the FDR Compilation album is currently being mixed as well.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I have worked with Max Carola before and he did a really good job. He specializes in mastering only I believe.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: A little of both because they each have their pros and cons so the combination of the too must be flawless.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Great work each time help up to a standard.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love being in control of the way the music is designed and sounds because I know how it is supposed to sound from the beginning.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Do you really know how to mix?? Yes I do as long as u can record good vocals
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: The biggest misconception about this line of work is that everyone believes they can do it as well. Or even that it's easy. All of these are untrue.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: Are you a serious artist? Do you know exactly what you want done? Do you trust that we will deliver you high quality music?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: If you want to get your money's worth give us a chance and you will be very pleased.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, Mic, Interface, DAW & headphones. A lot can happen when these items are at your disposal.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: At this point it has been about a 5 year run so far and we don't plan on slowing down anytime soon.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Soulful street sounds would pretty much sum up my answer, but I am truly all over the place with my production. This is what sets me apart from most.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Jay-Z & this is because there really is no experience like witnessing that magic in the booth that comes without the pen.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Take your time being creative.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: We usually work on either hip hop, r&b, soul or pop music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Our strongest skill right now would be the audio production.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: We bring input, constructive criticism, ideas, positive vibes, etc.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It's all about the feeling you get or would like to give off when it comes to making music. It usually starts with the production of course and from there the music will guide you in the direction that it needs the artist to go.

A: We specialize in Tracking, Production, Mixing & Mastering, and Songwriting.
