Marguerite Beane

Vocals & Songwriting

1 Review
Marguerite Beane on SoundBetter

Hey, I'm Marguerite! I'm a musician based in Nashville, TN, and a recent Vocal Performance graduate from Belmont University. Let's work together!

My specialty is vocals- mainly for Jazz, Pop, Soul, and Singer-Songwriter material but I have experience in other styles such as Country, Musical Theater, Choral, and Rock as well. All you need to do is send me your track, let me know what you are looking for in my performance, and I can record my vocals through Ableton or Logic and send it back to you. I can either sing a vocal line that you provide for me or I can write one for you!

I write songs as well, and you can find an example of my work in my audio samples ("Loved and Lost"). If you'd like me to create a track of the song for demo purposes I can do that as well.

I'll communicate with you through every step so that I can produce the sound that you are looking for. I'd love to help you with your next musical project!

  1. Review by Tahina Fiaferana

Marguerite is a wonderful singer and just as hard working! I've had the opportunity to work with her several times before and she seems to be very open to new ideas and works hard to serve the music the best she can. Would highly recommend!

Interview with Marguerite Beane

  1. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  2. A: Check out Tahina Fiaferana if you're looking for guitar work!! I've worked with him a lot and he's a brilliant player.

  3. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  4. A: Emily Remler- sadly she passed, but she was an amazing guitarist and I would have loved to learn from her (I'm a guitarist as well). Rosalía- her musical ideas and artistry are so beautifully thought out and her voice/emotional expression is incredible. I love how she is incorporating Spanish Flamenco with today's pop music.

  5. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  6. A: Don't get in your head- try to just let the creativity flow. You can always change what you have later.
