Hi, I am Jan. I am a full-time music producer, mixing, and mastering engineer with 9 years of experience in the business. I work with my team at Undercurrent-Audio studios in Berlin.

The Undercurrent team is a community of passionate artists based in Berlin, Germany. We are a creative studio specializing in mixing and mastering. Our deep love for artistry fuels everything that we do, and is our ultimate strength as a music studio. What makes us truly unique, however, is our philosophy on the creative process. While our competition may focus on accommodation, we instead obsess over understanding. From the very beginning of Undercurrent, the idea of the modern studio as a “service” didn’t fully resonate with us. Instead, we strived to create a studio that works with artists and includes them in the creative process. With this in mind, we created our special service, which provides artists with an experienced support system that works with them to achieve their goals. From concept to the final master, we guide each artist through the stages of production, providing them a unique opportunity to grow in a professional setting. This way, we know that our artists will feel understood. Having this mindset is the fundamental approach to everything that we do, and has allowed us to create professional music that each and every artist can stand behind. Music is not a result; it is a process.
