Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: The latest John Legend Album “Legend” and the occasional work I do with my best friend Jp Saxe.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A few records for some Canadian, US and European artists.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital is pretty hard to argue against based on convenience and speed, but I think it’s dependant on the song and the overall idea.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To work as hard as possible to craft and finish their song and/or project.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The ability to express any and all emotions.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Customer- How much? Answer- What’s your budget?
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I feel as though my guitar/bass playing is often at the forefront even though I feel just as if not more confident in my ability to produce and arrange full songs.

A: What is your vision?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be patient and honest with your art.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, Head-Phones, Acoustic guitar, mic and a big-ass hard drive.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I’ve been playing and creating music (guitar/bass) for almost 20 years, and producing/performing full-time for about 10,
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: A mixture of modern/experimental production and classic/traditionally inspired playing.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Anyone who inspires me, which usually entails someone who is open and honest with their art.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Scoop the Mids.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Recently it’s been a lot of Alt-Pop and Rock, but also work a lot with RnB and HipHop artists.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Emotional capacity and objectivity.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A set of ears inspired by a long list of genres and artists, I’ve worked for and strive to work with!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Meticulous and efficient.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work out of a studio in Toronto, Ontario, we have a lot of outboard gear and an incredible space for creating.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: David Foster Quincy Legitimately everyone I work with inspires me.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Production Instrumentation (playing Bass/Keys/Guitar) Arrangement
