Your best choice when it comes to music production, composition, mix and master if you're an aspiring artist who would love to be known on Spotify, Apple Music, etc. Songs that I produced/composed got into editorial playlists like "New Music Friday Philippines", "Fresh Finds Philippines", "Pinoy Indie Mix", "Kalye Hip-Hop" and "Chillax Sa Gabi".
Loysie Mercado or simply "Loysie" is an independent Filipino music artist/producer/songwriter from Alfonso Cavite, Philippines. He is known for doing one man A Capella covers in his YouTube Channel. You can consider his music genre-fluid. He might release Dance, he might release Folk, he might release Rock or he might release Hip hop. The possibilities are endless with his creative talent. He started making music way back in 2015 and will continue to release more.
Loysie composes, produces and records all his works only in his bedroom with essential equipment, so you can call him a bedroom pop artist. He believes that with the right equipment, originality, knowledge, creativity, talent and confidence, the quality of the product (music) is definitely excellent.
In 2020, he established his own independent record label "Loysie Music Productions" where he produces songs/albums for aspiring artists.
He loves to surprise his listeners by releasing music with different story, vibe, style, concept, genre and/or mood per album, either a single, an EP or a full album. What will he do next?

Endorse LoysieI started working with Loysie last year when I've decided to release my first EP album. I must say, working with Loysie was really fun and insightful. I don't have to explain much further on what I wanted my songs to sound like, because he already got it. He is also very professional. He works fast, with a topnotch output. I highly recommend Loysie to all aspiring artists out there. Trusting my music to him was all worth it. Five stars!
He is the best and professional producer. He produce my song well and soon it will release on Spotify and other music platforms. I recommend you all to hire him as a producer. You will never regret it!
Interview with Loysie
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: People think that I produce low quality music just because I work fast. I can guarantee you that although I'm fast at doing my work. I will not sacrifice the quality of it.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: We, as producers are responsible of bringing your music in your head to reality. I suggest that you should be specific when it comes to instruments, vibe, genre, chords, BPM, etc. ...or sometimes, let us surprise you. ๐
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Obviously my laptop, my audio interface, my condenser microphone, my monitoring headphones and my creative juices. I can make a song without a midi keyboard. ๐
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been making music since I was still in Highschool, roughly more than 6 years now. Music making is really my passion so I went to a music school in college, specifically in music technology/production.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: As an artist, If I'm gonna make a song, I really love adding a specific chord on my compositions. Specifically "II7" (Supertonic Major 7th Chord).
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When a client wants me to make a full song production, I usually start making the instrumental first. I believe that you should make music and make the audience feel something while listening to it without the lyrics first. After I finish the instrumental, then I'll proceed to songwriting.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: My clients usually want me to arrange their demo songs. For example, one of my clients has this demo recording of her singing while playing the guitar. She wanted me to add more instruments and add more sparkle to the song which she released under my independent label.
