Kris grew up in Braunschweig, Germany before moving to Hamburg to hone his skills working for renowned producer Tobias Levin. During his time in Hamburg Kris also played bass for German band Schrottgrenze. Moving to Scotland in 2011 he met Rod Jones and started to work on various Idlewild projects. This led to him co-founding Post Electric Studio, a purpose built studio designed by Munro Acoustics featuring a 48 channel SSL Duality, in Edinburgh with Rod in 2016.
Kris is a talented mixer and also a very meticulous engineer dedicated achieving perfect source signals.

I specialise in mastering but I am also available for recording projects in any studio of your choice. I enjoy a bit of editing and audio restoration in between masters and can usually turn over smaller jobs within 24 hours.
