On the violin, I play everything from fiddle tunes, to jazz improvisation, to full string arrangements - whatever your project needs. As a vocalist, I can deliver clean backups, or powerful leads, And as a songwriter, I can help write the lyrics/melody/structure to fulfill your vision.
I’m a lifelong professional violinist, with over 23 years of experience on the instrument and in the industry. I have formal classical training, in addition to the jazz fiddle training I received at Berklee College of Music. I also have over a decade of experience playing roots, folk, and country music as a working side musician in Portland. I've worked in several studios as a session instrumentalist, vocalist, and songwriter. With that wide range of styles under my belt, I’m flexible when it comes to each project, and dedicated to providing the best sound for your style. Currently, I am the violinist for the Bridge City Sinners, and the Tejon Street Corner Thieves, and I’ve also worked/played with other great roots, folk, and Americana artists like Amigo the Devil, the Goddamn Gallows, Yes Ma’am, Days n Daze, and Lavender Country, among others.
