MODERN SOUNDING MIXING AND MASTERING. 9 Years Experience. Unlimited Revisions. +100MLN streams Mixing and Mastering Engineer, worked with a good part of the emerging Italian Music Scene.
Every project I work on, I treat as if it were my last, striving to turn an idea into a work of art that stands the test of time — because I believe that, as an engineer, I have the special responsibility of carrying the poetry that music expresses into a file that can be translated across every language, every source, so that this painting may be interpreted by everyone in the way its creator intended, amplifying the emotions and intentions that were meant to be conveyed.
I have had the honor of working with many artists on the Italian scene, among whom Will stands out — an artist who brought his work to Sanremo, the pinnacle of Italian television, the place where the national dream reaches its highest possible peak.

Interview with Mattia Tonizzo
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Milan, Italy. I'm looking forward to move to the US one day.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Music itself. I love discovering new talents.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Great decisions often take time, but I'm a patient person.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Source material is key. Caring about the right sample choice and a good recording is everything.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work across many genres, specializing in everything that sounds modern and impactful.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I evolve the essence of the track to its fullest potential. I strike the listener straight to the heart, bringing out the soul of the artist.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My workflow is almost entirely digital — I believe that with the experience I have, the returns in terms of operational speed are enormous. The real difference is made by the recording hardware, but that's something the client takes care of. Who said that tracks with millions of streams have to be made with equally expensive gear? I speak from personal experience. I always finalize my mixes on headphones to make sure they translate well across any listening environment.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I take inspiration from the best: I love the sound of American engineers who are currently producing the finest pop and rap records topping the worldwide charts.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: My typical modus operandi is, first and foremost, to understand the client's needs — from there, the work begins, striving to express my abilities to the fullest and to bring out the meaning that the music is meant to convey. We don't stop until everyone is satisfied.
