  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: My EP I released last year. “Return of the Breakbeats. I was proud of the sound quality and creativity. I was artist, songwriter, producer and engineer.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I’m working on my EP “Return of the Breakbeats pt. 2

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Not at this time.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital for me. The digital sound is a lot more crisp.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: They will be satisfied with the crisp mixes I provide.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: It’s something I love to do, so it doesn’t feel like work.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: What Daw do I use for mixes. I tell them Pro Tools.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: People have to understand if the vocals were recorded too hot it’s nothing I can do to clear them up. If they purchased a beat from a producer and the beat wasn’t mixed good, it’s nothing I can do.

  18. A: What Daw were your vocals recorded on? What type of mic did you use?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Be very clear in explaining what you would like me to do.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: My IMac, my AKAI MPK, My mic, my rokit monitors and my Mackie MIDI control board.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I’ve been a recorded artist for years. Was signed in 03”. Since then I’ve created my own label and signed artists to my label including myself.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: My style is very abstract. I go left from the norm and modern sound.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: Rick Ross, I love the type of production he uses. He’s also a great lyricist.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Yes, always make sure the snare is standing out in the mix and has a nice snap to it.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: My main genre is Hiphop. I also work in R&B a lot.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: My strongest skill is music production, creating compositions. I’m also a great engineer.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I bring presence to vocals in a mix. I master the song to make sound it loud but still clear.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: Most of my work is mixing clients records. I also produce for a lot of artists.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I use Logic Pro X for music production. I use Pro Tools for recording vocals, and mixing and mastering.

  42. A: J-Dilla, Pete Rock, Alchemist, Rick Ross, Drake, Lil Wayne
