My background is jazz, as an instrumentalist and composer, but I have also written classical compositions, rock songs, and pop arrangements. I use Finale to create my sheet music. My favorite musicians include Jelly Roll Morton, Joni Mitchell, J.S. Bach, Charles Mingus, Paul Simon, Colin Stetson, James Chance, Martin Carthy, and Frank Zappa.
