Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop (and charger), a USB microphone, a midi-keyboard, a pair of earphones/headphones and a positive mind-state.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: One of the projects that I'm especially proud of is a commercial song that I wrote for Unilever - Dove for the launching of one of their shampoo products. It was the first time I worked with a brand on a commercial advert song. I chose to focus on the message that the brand is aspired to share widely - I built a story around it with specific details and a top-line lyric that people can get inspired from. The song was somewhat a success to me and I hope it has been a success to the brand.

A: Creativity challenges.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I'm working to train my songwriting and production skills. I have worked as a singer-songwriter for 4 years.

A: Feminine, sweet, imaginative.

A: If the melody sounds good when you sing it, it's a good one.

A: Pop, indie pop, ballad pop

A: Songwriting
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A story with details and a feeling of closeness.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: For vocal recording, I explore the lyrics and the genre I'm recording first, in order to understand the style of vocals used in the track. For songwriting, I will try to explore the story and musical concept of the tracks and come up with a topic that can connect with the musical ideas. I can write on an instrumental arrangement or brainstorm from an initial idea and develop it into a song with piano accompaniment.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have an Aston Origin Cardioid Microphone + Audio Technica M50x headphones for recording & a couple of Yamaha HS8 monitor speakers.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My inspirations are Adele, Lana Del Rey, Tom Odell,... They are artists that help me explore artistry & concepts within their unique expression in music.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common type of work I do for my clients is songwriting. I compose original songs for singers to express their stories and establish their artistry.
