Lyricist and female vocalist

My name is Kathryn, and I will be graduating next year with a creative writing with media studies degree. With this degree I hope to show my passion and ability to create emotional pieces that can reach out and make a difference, even if it's just by making people smile and sing along.

I enjoy writing and revising lyrics, having written a wide range of both fiction and non-fiction both before and during my time at University. I began writing short stories and novels, before turning the pen towards poems, which after having studied them at University, sounded like beautiful music-less lyrics.

It soon became a passion to sit and write whatever was going on at the time, to create something meaningful that people could connect with on a personal level, to create and develop emotion through lyrics that I couldn't quite produce the music for.

Over the years, I have honed my voice and have learnt to adapt it to various genres. It is a skill I've attained through constant practice over the years, meaning my voice is now able range between pop, rock, and even Italian opera.

I am willing to collaborate with others when writing lyrics for most song genres, and also offer my proofreading and editing services to other lyricists. Additionally, I am a young female vocalist who is eager to help lyricists by performing their songs.
