Yotti and Jamia make up The Key. Yotti is the vocal producer/ arranger with the crazy wordplay. Jamia has been singing since she was 5 years old. She has been in the industry for 20 years now and has appeared as a voice actor for the character UNIQUA in the kids show Backyardigans, performed on tour with David Foster and Friends, played Hope in the movie August Rush, was a speaker and performer for TEDTalk x NASA, holds the record for being the youngest ever to perform at the 80th Oscar Awards, and many more accomplishments.

Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Being able to take something that was once just an idea and turning it into something others can appreciate.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: To be clear and concise on what exactly it is they’re looking for so that we can deliver properly.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: We feel that we bring atypical melodies and intentional lyrics.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: We either start by finding a melody that marries the production or we take something we previously wrote and fit it to the song.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: A few of our biggest inspirations are Brandy, Queen, James Fauntleroy, and Victoria Monet.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: We typically work on Pop or R&B for the most part.
