futurascope music is a music production company located near portland, maine. We focus on supplying music for film, tv and multimedia productions. we also offer mixing and mastering services.
futurascope music started in the US in 1997 and in 2001 shifted base back to Scotland, UK before returning to the US in 2018.
as well as the release and promotion of new material the main focus of the company is in the licensing of music for use in film, tv and multimedia. although stylistically our heart lies with punk, alt pop and the sounds of the west coast in the sixties we also produce lo-fi hip-hop and cinematic music.
to date we have had music placed on Netflix, MTV, NBC, BBC, Discovery to name a few and it's our aim to work with music supervisors, publishers and libraries to help them with their project needs and at the same time get our music heard by a wider audience.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: In the box set up using Cubase 10.5 pro. Spirit absolute zero speakers, Beyerdynamic headphones, Sonarworks room & headphone correction software. Izotope for mastering.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I love a wide selection of musical styles/genres but work mainly on guitar based rock music and lo-fi hip-hop. from a mixing perspective I like the work of Andrew Schepps, Brendan O'Brien and Bob Clearmountain.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I have been recording, mixing and mastering my own music for over 30 years. futurascope music as a company has just started offering mixing and mastering services.
