My sonic signature is shaped by my sonic gusto, no trendy hocus-pocus! What is ''best'' today and what makes your music sound ''best'' are two different things. Your music is unique, complex and a contradiction in itself and it’s worthy of much more than One-Fits-All templates. Let's refine, explore and expand your music together!
Hi, I am Arin Baykurt, full time mixing and recording engineer from Istanbul where The East and The West meet.
Serving the sonic arts in the music industry for the last 20 years by making tailored mixes which reflect the artists' emotions perfectly, I will help your vision become alive sonically, with all its elements clearly defined, versatile, vibrant, fresh as well as clean and turn your music into a beautiful piece of art that makes you proud every time you listen... Apart from being my day job, mixing is my deepest passion in life.
Throughout my career, I have worked with hundreds of artists and musicians in musical productions from various genres for thousands of studio hours. I've been extremely lucky to be involved with major label artists, great underground music geniuses and new upcoming artists. I have been in the creative process for many musical works from Jazz to Extreme Metal, from Classical to Pop and I still continue my work with unending curiosity and enthusiasm.
I am looking forward to work with you and help you on your project.

A: Both! if possible. Why not... They both have incomparable attributes :)
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: In the last two decades I have worked in wide spectrum of music genres, but I think Rock and relative genres mostly. What I enjoy to be intertwined with is, a music that has diverse emotions, dynamics and instrumentation.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Communication and comprehension.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Since every song's needs are variant, my main focus is generally the energy, vision and gusto.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Before the technical matters of the work I try to understand the artist's vision. Then I examine the submitted material thoroughly and give a general information to the artist. When we achieve mutual clarity on different aspects (Sound, price, due date, etc.), I prepare the project for the mix.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Whoever serves the music by combining artistic perspective and engineering, and able to create a unique style.
