Hello, music lovers! My name is Gabe Violett. I am an NYC-based professional full-time vocalist with 10+ years experience behind a microphone. My career began on Broadway in Spring Awakening, took me to TV with The Voice (Team Alicia) and everywhere in between, including international tours, singing lead for award-winning Acapella groups (Blue Jupiter), even singing with Paul McCartney!
I pride myself on being extremely dynamic not only with vocal stylings and range (from classical baritone to rock belter/mezzo soprano and anywhere inbeteen), but also understanding the difference in live singing vs studio singing; this allows me to tune my ‘style knob’ anywhere in the spectrum, infusing studio performances with the excitement of live singing while retaining the detail and accuracy of session singing. I write and arrange music and I'm passionate about crafting BGV parts, harmonies, ad libs, etc. Let my perfectionism be your advantage!
I am a gadget nerd, so I don’t just have my own equipment... I LOVE it and understand it inside and out! My setup includes a Lewitt 441 Flex microphone, SSL interface, Logic Pro X and a soundproof isolation booth to top it off.
My passion for singing makes me a great singer; my attention to detail and over a decade of experience makes me a great studio singer. Those 2 things, plus my home recording setup, make me the best singer for you!
