I've been recording vocals and songwriting since 2000. Vocally, my influences range from Ella Fitzgerald to Ellie Goulding to Stevie Nicks. Songwriting wise, I'm a storyteller but love working with poetry. When I work with a client via Soundbetter, it's all about you-not about me. It's my delight to create exactly what you want, every time.
- Power pop vocal (Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson)
- Soft, whisper vocal (Joy Williams from the Civil Wars, Ellie Goulding, Norah Jones)
- Duet vocal as the higher or lower harmony matching another voice
- Traditional Folk vocal (Joni Mitchell, Jewel)
- Rock vocal (Stevie Nicks)
- Extended projects to put a body of poetry or ideas to music
- Story telling songs to transform memories into music
- Translating poetry into songs

Another song and another great experience!
Tiffany is amazing! It's always a pleasure to work with her.
Tiffany is a great vocalist who went out of her way to go above and beyond with implementing extra elements and ad libs into her delivery that elevated the song, highly recommended!

I would recommend her to anybody looking for a great vocalist.

Interview with Tiffany T.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Transforming lyrics ideas, poems and life stories into songs.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a home studio. The room is small and the vaulted ceilings and layers walls create natural sound defusers. The pairing of my Apollo Twin and the Blue Blueberry mic or the Shure SM87 create clear, clean vocal files.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Versatility. I listen to a lot of different music, work my voice out regularly and write lyrics almost every day. So my creative tool kit is kept pretty sharp and at the disposal of my clients.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I listen to you. My goal is to create exactly what you heard in your head but needed help bringing into the world. That could be a melody, a vocal part, a story, a poem. Whatever the sonic creative medium, I love serving my clients and giving them not only a wonderful product, but a wonder memory of creating it.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: My main focus as an artist is an indie pop project called DANAE. Visit DANAE.co to explore the music and story.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Be creative.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My personal style is a mix of pop and folk. I love the build of pop, but the truth of folk.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Rosetta. I worked with a client and friend to transform a body of poetry into a full length CD and a Chapbook of poetry. You can enjoy the work at http://tiffanythompsonmusic.com/rosetta
