I create emotional, cinematic indie records — from topline to final vocal. If you need something that feels honest, textured, and hits on the first listen, I’ve got you. Written songs for: Lost Frequencies, R3HAB, Matoma, Mat Kearney, Russel Dickerson, Needtobreathe, Kina, Mokita, FlybyMidnight, The Strumbellas, Allen Stone, Dashboard Confessional
I've been fortunate to build a career as a recording artist, songwriter, and vocalist with over **500 million career streams**, collaborating with artists including Lost Frequencies, R3HAB, Matoma, NEEDTOBREATHE, Dashboard Confessional, The Strumbellas, Russell Dickerson, and more.
I specialize in emotional, release-ready **male vocals and toplines** for modern Pop, Country, Indie, CCM, and singer-songwriter music. Whether you need a finished lead vocal, harmonies, or a complete topline (melody + lyrics), my goal is always to create something authentic that serves the song.
**To help me provide an accurate proposal, please include:**
• Genre and 1–3 reference songs
• Whether you need vocals, a topline, or both
• Instrumental/demo, key, and BPM
• Desired turnaround time
• Any creative notes or vocal references
You'll receive clean, organized WAV files, clear communication throughout the process, and a collaborative approach from start to finish.
While I'm happy to explore different styles, I'm best suited for Pop, Country, Indie, CCM, and singer-songwriter projects, and generally don't take on rap vocals, metal screams, or character/impersonation work.
If you're looking for honest, emotionally driven vocals that elevate your song, I'd love to work together.

Interview with Mokita
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Most people ask about turnaround time and revisions. I typically deliver within a few days and include revisions to make sure everything feels right and lands the way they want.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I usually ask about the direction they’re going for, reference tracks they like, what the song needs most, and how involved they want to be in the process.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Look for someone whose style genuinely matches your track. Technical skill matters, but the right feel and emotion are what make a song connect.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: A laptop with my DAW, a solid vocal mic, a pair of headphones, a small MIDI keyboard, and a simple interface. That’s all I really need to build something from scratch.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Ive been in Nashville for 11 years. I've been producing and writing songs as a full time job for almost 9 years. I started as an artist and then started working with other artists, helping them realzie their visions.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Emotional, cinematic, and textured. I try to create songs that feel intimate but still have impact — something you can sit with but also connect to right away.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd love to work with John Mayer. I grew up listening to him and so much of what I do is inspired by his work.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Focus on the vocal early. If the vocal and melody connect emotionally, everything else can support it — but no amount of production can fix a weak topline.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I mostly work in indie, alt-pop, and cinematic pop — anything that leans emotional and atmospheric. I also work across electronic and chill records when the focus is on strong melody and vocal feel.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My work ethic and my commitment to excellence. I only turn in things I'm proud of and are release-ready.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I focus on making songs feel honest and emotionally connected. Whether it’s a subtle vocal or a big chorus, I aim to create moments that stick and elevate the overall record. My goal is always to serve the song first and bring out its full potential.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Once I receive a track, I’ll usually start by mapping out melody ideas and direction. From there, I build out the topline and lyrics (if needed), record multiple vocal takes, and deliver a polished comp along with stems. I keep communication open throughout the process to make sure everything is landing the way the client wants.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work out of a professional home studio setup with high-quality recording equipment, industry-standard plugins, and a clean vocal chain. I focus on delivering polished, mix-ready vocals and well-organized stems that are easy to drop into any session.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I’m inspired by artists and producers who blend emotion with modern production — people like Bon Iver and John Mayer all the way to Quincy Jones and David Foster. I love records that feel intimate but still hit on a large scale.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I typically work as a vocalist and topliner, helping bring songs to life with strong melodies and emotional, textured vocals. Most clients come to me with a track that needs a compelling topline, or a vocal that elevates the record and makes it feel complete.I also produce all of my own music and play guitar and piano.
