Sound designer and audio engineer creating custom, human-crafted audio for film, games, podcasts, and brands, focused on emotional impact, clarity, and high-end production quality.
I'm Michael Bargen, the sound designer and audio engineer behind Leafland Audio. I build the complete audio layer for picture and audio projects - atmospheres, foley, sound effects and the final mix — for film, trailers, radio plays, audiobooks, games and brands.
Every project starts with one question: what should this land for the audience? The technique comes after. For animation and 3D, every sound is built from scratch. For trailers, it's about the impact hitting right on the cut. For audiobooks and radio plays, it's the picture that forms in the listener's head.
I work in Nuendo and Ableton Live and deliver in whatever format you need - stereo, 5.1, or stems. You can book a full project or a single part, like just the mix. I keep you in the loop with work-in-progress versions and clear revision rounds, so you don't need to be an audio person to get exactly what you're after.
