Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Experimental
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Travis Scott he's constantly able to surprise me with his beat selection and I feel that he uses his influence from Kanye to take his Music to the next level.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Learn Sound Design or at least the basics. It will set you apart from the crowd.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hip-hop, Trap, to keep up with the demand of the upcoming artist in my city. For myself i'll do more experimental Hip-hop.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I've always received great feedback for my drums especially my unique 808 usage.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Great Sound selection and synth arrangements, drums the make the song pop.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I normally start a beat with a melody idea( which will be constantly tweaked throughout the process), then I move on to sound selection and design picking and choosing the synths and instruments I'll be using. I have a few signature sounds. Then I proceed to built drums around the track I design alot of my drums as well to have a signature sound not typically heard today in hip-hop.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Typical at home producer set up, Macbook running Fl studio 11 and abelton, Windows laptop also running Fl studio 11, Krk 6's, Midi Keyboard.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Hudson Mohawke, Mike Dean, Wondagurl, Kanye West, Noah Breakfast, Mr. Carmack, Nujabes, Noah 40.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Beatmaking mostly, I like to get in the studio with the artist and engineer to do fully productions as well gives me potential to be more creative and really dig into the artist as you can hear on my preview track.
