Neil has been a stellar producer and musician on my project over the past year. Together we have worked on a 10-track album and it's been such an awesome & fun journey! Neil caught me on an impromptu set one evening, enjoyed what I performed live, and reached out the following day. Interview with Neil Brock

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Apart from my gear highlights (SSL 4056 Console and Telefuken V676 Preamps), I use Logic X and Protools (equally!) with great industry standard plugins and software. I have the highest-end guitars and guitar magic-boxes (that's a tech term haha), and a few outboard sound modules. My vocal chain consists of a Neumann U87i > Urei 1176 > Telefunken V676 > Apogee Symphony
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Salaam Remi and Mark Ronson are such geniuses!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Co-write, Produce, and play instruments - all in equal measures :)

A: Tune for an American artist called Anna Graceman

A: make the best of both, always.

A: quality, and honesty

A: get up in the morning and hear the most refreshing sounds :)

A: Aim to work with more than just one producer

A: I started as a musician some 20 years ago, got my first studio job 15 years ago, and developed from there :)

A: Rehearse More, Edit Less

A: I'm a trained musician, so arrangement, guitar/piano playing, and production
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I first listen! To the recordings the artist brings, and to their vision. I can tell pretty quickly if I can contribute, we then start working on the tracks together - writing (if needed) recording, production, and mix.
