I am a guitarist, keyboardist, composer and music producer. I have played guitar and keyboards on touring theatre shows such as Nativity! The Musical and The Simon and Garfunkel Story. I have also written and produced original music for over 10 years. I want to help with your project.
I can record electric guitar, bass, keyboards, and program drums, synthesizers and orchestral instruments. I can help you with anything from arranging your song, recording your instruments, editing your tracks, mixing, or writing and producing original music for your film/theatre show/audiobook etc.
I graduated in Music from The University of Birmingham with first class honours, staying to complete an MA in Electroacoustic Composition, achieving distinction. While at university, I musically directed and played for shows including Into the Woods, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Rent.
Since then, I have been mainly working in theatre, as Assistant Musical Director/Guitar/Keys for Nativity! The Musical (UK Tour) and Guitar/Keys for The Simon and Garfunkel Story (UK/International Tour.) I have arranged songs (scores and tracks), produced for solo artists, and played piano with Improv Theatre groups including Murder, She Didn't Write, Improvabunga! and Notflix.
I read sheet music and I have a sound grasp of theory. I am familiar with many styles, having sung in choirs, played percussion in orchestras, and played guitar, bass and keys in rock bands, big bands and pit bands.
Let's make some music together.
Send me an email through 'Contact' button above and I'll get back to you asap.

Endorse Will TuckwellWill is an exceptional musician. As well as possessing all skills to realise a musical vision (incl. composition, performance, production), his work to date shows his ability to master each area of his portfolio. As a composer/drummer, I have worked with Will in a variety of contexts, where he has been an invaluable asset to the creation, performance and direction of the project at hand. One would be hard-pressed to find someone with more impressive credentials and experience, and coupled with his personable and positive attitude, I would recommend Will’s services to any prospective client.
I have worked with will on several projects over the last 3 years and I couldn’t recommend him enough. Most recently I asked Will to arrange a 3 piece string section for my EP and they sound INCREDIBLE - I was very busy and trusted Will’s musical knowledge enough to leave him to it and I wasn’t disappointed!!
Very professional
Very fast
Very flexible
*****I have collaborated with Will countless times in the last 7 years. He has taken on a variety of roles for me, including guitar, bass, keyboards, composition, production, arrangement/orchestration, mixing & accompanying improvisation. I cannot speak highly enough of Will as a musician. In all of these roles he delivers exceptional work. He listens exceptionally, collaborates very well and is comfortable with any amount of creative freedom: give him precise instructions or a rough outline and his quality of work will be equally excellent. If I need music, I'd always look to Will first.
Will's orchestrations for Reality Bites have completely enhanced the production - not only is he an impeccable guitar/keys player, he is highly professional, works in a collaborative nature and produces quality tracks every time.
