Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Emancipator is a strong influence that marries techniques and instruments I personally utilize. The spacious sounds that keep the listener engaged are what keep me coming back for more of his chilled out, melodic, grooving sound. In the Pop genre I gravitate toward other musicians like me, like Charlie Puth, who produces and records his own music. He, like me, has a background in Jazz that fuels his craft, and is condensed into hit making pop music.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: For my clients I make backing tracks using my skills as an instrumentalist, playing guitar, keyboard, and bass guitar. I even have recorded layered background vocals. After my clients record their vocals or melodies, I mix their tracks to prepare for mastering. Clients can choose to have me master their tracks or send it off to another engineer.
